Vildagliptin & Metformin Hydrochloride tablets are combined in the medication known as, Vildagliptin & Metformin Hydrochloride which is anti-diabetic. Previously, type 2 diabetes was referred to as maturity-onset diabetes or non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM). When the body does not create enough insulin or when the insulin it does produce is not functioning as it should, type 2 diabetes develops.
