Cefpodoxime & Ofloxacin Tablets
Cefpodoxime & Ofloxacin Tablets are a member of the class of drugs known as broad-spectrum antibiotics, which are used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including those of the ears, sinuses, lungs, and bladder. The growth of pathogenic bacteria on or within the body is what leads to bacterial illnesses. The tablets are ineffective against viral infections, such as the common cold and the flu. Antibiotic resistance is a problem that can arise from the overuse of antibiotics, rendering treatment ineffective for subsequent infections.
These tablets include a mixture of Cefpodoxime and Ofloxacin, two antibiotic medications. DNA gyrase, which is necessary for DNA replication, transcription, and repair, is inhibited by ofloxacin. Cefpodoxime functions by inhibiting the bacterial cell wall, which is essential to the bacteria’s survival. As a result, it has bactericidal properties that help cure and stop the spread of bacterial diseases. These tablets work together to treat bacterial infections.
Good against a variety of germs: Both ofloxacin and cefpodoxime work well against a variety of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. They are therefore a fantastic option for treating a range of infections.
Well-tolerated: Most people are able to tolerate cefpodoxime with ofloxacin. Most side effects are minor and disappear on their own.
Oral form: Cefpodoxime and ofloxacin are readily ingested due to their oral form availability.
