Faro twice-CV – This medication contains Faropenem Sodium Hydrate-200 mg Potassium Clavulanate Diluted-125 mg. It is an antibiotic medication that is used for treating bacterial infections. It works against a wide variety of bacteria, including those that manufacture beta-lactamase enzymes. Faro twice-CV is a combination of two medications namely Faropenem Sodium Hydrate and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted.
Faropenem is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by stopping them from building the protective coating (cell wall) that allows them to live. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that lowers resistance to Faropenem and increases its antibacterial effectiveness. Together, they provide a powerful line of defense against a wide spectrum of bacterial diseases.

Clavulanic acid + faropenem is mostly used to treat bacterial infections. This drug is classified as an antibacterial.
Faro twice-CV Tablet is a mixture of faropenem and clavulanic acid. It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that inhibits both aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms. Faro twice-CV Tablet is used to treat certain bacterial infections. Faro twice-CV Tablet inhibits the production of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) and causes harm to it. This finally results in the death of the bacterial cell, preventing the spread of bacterial diseases. Clavulanic acid blocks the beta-lactamase enzyme, preventing bacteria from degrading the effectiveness of beta-lactam antibiotics.
Like other medications, this medication also contains some side effects that do not require any medical attention and disappear over time when your body adjusts to the medication. But if you persistently experience these side effects then consult with your doctor and take medical advice.
Take this medication as advised by your doctor, do not chew or crush this medication. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water with or without food. So it is advisable not to take more than the recommended dose. To get better results take this medication with the proper dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor.
Alcohol – Avoid the consumption of alcohol while taking this medication. It may worsen your health. It is unsafe to consume alcohol with this medication.
Pregnancy – If you are pregnant or planning to conceive then consult with your doctor before taking this medication. Your doctor will prescribe this medication if it is beneficial for you.
Breastfeeding – If you are nursing your child then do not take this medication. It is excreted in human milk therefore consult with your doctor before taking this medication.
Driving – Do not drive after taking this medication if you feel sleepy. Drive only when you feel alert after taking this medication.
Liver – If you are a liver patient then take this medication after consulting with your doctor. The dosage may be adjusted by your doctor. Therefore consult with your doctor before taking this medication.
Kidney – If you are a kidney patient then take this medication with caution. Consult with your doctor before taking this medication. Your doctor may adjust the doses of this medication.
Children – This medication is not recommended for children.
