Prazopure – 5 – Prazopure 5 Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and lower any future risk of heart attack and stroke. In addition to this, it is also used to treat mild prostate gland enlargement in men (known as Benign Prostate Hyperplasia) and heart failure. Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a lifelong or chronic condition in which the blood pressure against the artery walls becomes high. The higher this blood pressure, the harder the heart has to pump.
Prazopure 5 Tablet contains Prazosin, an alpha-blocker primarily used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It acts by relaxing the blood vessels, reducing the heart’s workload, and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Thus, it helps to lower high blood pressure, reducing the chances of any future heart attack or stroke.
How to Take Prazopure 5 mg?
Prazosin works by reducing the blood pressure where it helps relax the walls of blood vessels and reduce the resistance to blood flow so that blood can pass smoothly without any obstruction. It reduces the chances of heart failure by acting on the main blood vessel, thus allowing the heart to pump blood effectively.
It manages Raynaud’s disease (fingers become white and painful when cold) by relaxing the blood vessels so that blood can reach the fingers and promotes circulation thereby manages fingers being cold and stiff.
Prazopure 5MG TABLET also manages prostatic hyperplasia (mild enlargement of prostate gland) by relaxing the muscles of bladder and prostate gland and thus helps to pass urine easily.
Prazopure 5mg Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. It can be taken with or without food. The dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit. High blood pressure does not usually have symptoms so keep taking it even if you feel well. If you stop, your blood pressure may rise and put you at risk of heart attack or stroke. You may need to take it for the rest of your life.
