Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering drug that inhibits the enzyme needed to produce cholesterol in the body. As a result, it reduces bad cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides (TG) while increasing good cholesterol (HDL). Clopidogrel is a blood thinner (anticoagulant) that helps to avoid clots in blood vessels. Alcohol – Do not consume alcohol while taking this medication; it may worsen your liver condition with increased secretion of liver enzymes.

Pregnancy – Rosuvastatin+clopidogrel contains Rosuvastatin, a pregnancy category X medication. It may be harmful to both the pregnant woman and the foetus. As a result, it is not suggested for pregnant women or those planning to become pregnant. Your doctor may only prescribe it to you in extreme cases.

Breastfeeding – Take Rosuvastatin+clopidogrel just as prescribed; it is known to transfer to the infant in a limited amount via breast milk.

Driving – Do not drive after taking this medication as it may decrease alertness, cause blurry vision, and affect driving ability.
