Sucralfate and Oxetacaine Suspension – Sucralfate and Oxetacaine are a group of medicines called Ulcer protectants. It is commonly used to treat peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal ulcers, hyperacidity, heartburn, Indigestion and inflammation of the stomach. The stomach has a layer of mucus that typically keeps acid from causing harm. Sometimes, when there is too much acid, the protective layer in our body gets damaged. This can cause problems such as heartburn and acidity. A peptic ulcer is a painful sore that can develop in the stomach or the first part of the small intestine. Ulcers or sores in the stomach are called gastric ulcers, and ulcers in the duodenum are known as duodenal ulcers.
Scotflux-O Syrup is a combination of two drugs called Sucralfate and Oxetacaine. Sucralfate is a medicine that helps protect the stomach and intestines. It does this by creating a protective layer that stops harmful substances from irritating the stomach lining. This keeps the ulcer safe from the stomach acid, so it can get better. Additionally, Oxetacaine is a type of medicine that numbs and alleviates pain caused by ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach. You can take this syrup half an hour before a meal for better results.
